Even an informational blog should be able to catch the eye of the user. If you keep on publishing mundane and plagiarism full content on your website, then it’s going to harm you.

Google gives a lot of attention to content. If you have no idea what kind of content you should publish. You can check ou Google Publisher Policies.

2. Post Consistently

Keep posting content. Even if you’re not getting any visitors, don’t stop yourself. Consistency is crucial while getting AdSense approval.

According to guidelines, your website should have 10-15 high-quality, unique articles for AdSense approval.

This step is important because it lets Google know that your website is growing and someone is working on it.

The average word counts on your website before you submit it for approval should be 10,000 – 15,000 words.

3. Create About & Contact Pages

This is one guideline that most newcomers overlook. Your website should have an ‘About Us’ page and a ‘Contact Us’ page. You can consider this step as an insider Google AdSense approval trick.

Having About Us and Contact Us pages is important as it gives your website credibility. During the review of your website, Google tends to check if your website is legit or not.

If you want, you can include the photos of your team with a short Bio. Having these pages will make it easier for Google to Validate the authenticity of the website.

4. Build a Privacy Policy

As a lot of users will be visiting your website, you need to protect their privacy. Everything you will be doing with users’ data should be clearly dictated in the Privacy Policy.

If you don’t know how to create a privacy policy, then you can check out some samples online. Or, you can visit the website of your primary competitor, and check out their privacy policy. Take inspiration from the policy, don’t copy it altogether.

5. Restricted Content or Not?

If you’ve been getting rejected over and over again. Chances are you’re publishing content that’s on Google’s restricted content list. If your website niche is based on this restricted content list, then you can’t get AdSense Approval.

Here’s a list of content types to avoid:

  • Sexual Content
  • Content that shows death
  • Terrorism related content
  • Weapon-related content (explosives, guns)
  • Recreational drugs, tobacco, alcohol
  • Online gambling
  • Prescription drug sales, unapproved pharmaceuticals

Google keeps changing its policy so it’s best to keep a track of it.

6. Avoid Copyright Content

Another way to get rejected is to use copyright content without permission. You shouldn’t download an image and use it for your website. If you’ve been doing so, it may be why you’ve been getting rejected.

If you’re about to apply, you should remove all the copyright content and use royalty-free content and if you want copyright-free images, then you can use the:

  • Pixabay.com
  • Freepik.com

7. Age of Your Website

Google guidelines around this factor aren’t as clear as other factors. Website age doesn’t matter everywhere throughout the globe. If you’re in the USA, then age doesn’t matter. Google has asked website owners from India, and China to wait for 6 months before applying for AdSense Approval.

Google has done this to prevent the growth of fake and spammy websites. All the websites that are running from this location need to wait for 6 months before applying.

8. Check if Your Website is Banned

If you’ve just created your website, then you can rest easy that you aren’t banned. However, if you’ve purchased an expired domain, then chances are your domain is banned from getting Google AdSense.

There are many websites available online that can help you check if your domain is banned or not. The most used website is adsensechecker.com. The list of websites isn’t banned, but there’s no harm in checking it.

If your website is easy to use and navigate, then you can get AdSense approval easily. A lot of website owners don’t consider website usability to be a factor.

Choose a simple theme, and try to make the website as easy to navigate as possible. Having a website that is tough to navigate will cause users to close your website.

10. Remove Other Ads

Google doesn’t take it well if there are already other ads on your website. It can and will lead to rejection most of the time. Before you send your website for Google AdSense Approval, remove other ads.

Google will reject your website if there are already ads on it. Too many ads hamper the user experience.
